Description

The gates, gate piers, and flanking garden boundary walls located to the south of Castor House date from the late 17th century. The gate piers are made of rusticated stone and feature cornices and large ball finials, with niches on the front sides that have railings at their bases. The gates are wrought iron and are accompanied by an ornate wrought iron overthrow. The flanking garden boundary walls are constructed from coursed stone rubble and are partly topped with iron railings.
