Description
Home Farmhouse is a building likely dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof with gabled ends. The house has an L-shaped plan with a hipped angle to the roof. The rear north-west wing includes a pigeon-house, while the eastern part has been converted from stables. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are two and three-light casements. There is a 19th-century door and a modern lean-to conservatory at the front. A large stone ridge stack is positioned off centre, along with a modern brick ridge stack. A fire insurance plaque is displayed on the front wall. Inside, there are stopped chamfered ceiling beams, with those in the east end featuring run-out stops.
