Description
The Bull and Dolphin is a building dating from around 1500, with a core from the 16th century. The front timber work has been completely modernized with sawn fake half-timbering, which may be covering the original timbers in a replica style. The building is two storeys high and features a repaired stone slate roof. It has three gables that overhang on oriel cornice bases, adorned with carved bargeboards, and each gable has two lights with leaded casements. On the first floor, there are three windows, each with narrow two-light leaded casements. The ground floor displays paired narrow plain pilasters, with nine fielded double doors at the centre and half-glazed two fielded double doors to the left. There is also an early 19th-century shop front to the right. The Bull and Dolphin is part of a group with Nos 94 to 100 (even).
