Description

This is an early 19th-century building on Priestgate. It is L-shaped, constructed of brick and covered by a slate roof. The building rises to five storeys and has a plain parapet. It has five windows, each with flat arches and double-hung sashes containing glazing bars; two of these windows are blocked. A panelled doorway is topped by a round-arched ornamental fanlight. The group value of this building is that it contributes to the character of the surrounding area.
