Description

35 Priestgate is an early 19th-century brick building with a slate roof, standing three storeys tall. It features a heavy moulded stone cornice and has four windows, which are double-hung sashes with glazing bars. There is a band at the cills of the first-floor windows. The ground floor windows are set in moulded shouldered stone architraves with a recessed apron and are above a plinth. A plain shallow portico porch is present, with a bend on the frieze that continues at the sides, supporting a stone bay window with a pediment. The entrance has three steps with inset foot scrapers. This building, along with No. 37, forms a group.
