Description

The Old Butchers Shop is a 17th to 18th century stone cottage located on the west side of The Square in Barnack. It features a plastered front and a steeply pitched roof with a coped gable end, covered with new tiles. The building is one storey high with an attic and has two windows, which are two-light casements with glazing bars. There are also two modern gabled dormers. The left-hand side has a flush panel door, and there is an ashlar internal stack at the north end. Additionally, there is a single storey wing from the 19th century that projects to the right, or northeast.
