Description
Chester Cottage is a 17th and early 18th century cottage located on Barnack Main Street. It is constructed of coursed stone rubble with a steeply pitched Collyweston stone roof featuring gabled ends. The cottage is one storey high, with a further attic space accommodated by two gabled dormers containing modern casement windows. The ground floor has two modern sash windows with glazing bars and a central modern door. A plank door is situated to the right. Both the right-hand doorway and window are topped with keyblocked lintels. There is an internal end chimney stack.
