Description
Luton Hoo Garden Centre is a Grade II listed structure located in the Luton Hoo Estate. It consists of greenhouses and a garden centre situated within half of an octagonal walled garden that features a central diaphragm wall. The greenhouses are arranged around three sides of the garden, with long greenhouses on the left and right sides against the wall, both featuring a central gabled porch with petalled glazing bars in the gable. The central block replaces the wall and includes the main greenhouse. Flanking the garden centre are two 19th-century houses made of brick, each two stories tall; one has a slated roof while the other is covered with modern tiles. The houses have three first-floor casements with glazing bars and cambered heads, as well as two ground-floor canted bays and a central gabled porch. A wrought iron gate faces the main greenhouse block.
