Description
Whitehall is a house dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 19th century. It features timber framed construction, primarily covered in colourwashed roughcast render, while parts of the ground floor have been rebuilt in colourwashed brick. The 19th-century addition is also in colourwashed brick, and the roofs are covered with clay tiles. The main block has a three-room plan and is two storeys high, with the northern room being a 19th-century addition. There is a slightly lower one-storey and attic block that projects to the east, which includes lean-to additions in the southeast angle. The house has a variety of casement windows, some of which are leaded and others with glazing bars. There is an original doorway on the west elevation that is now blocked, aligned with a red brick multiple ridge stack. Additionally, there is a red brick integral gable end stack on the east block.
