Description

The remains of a churchyard cross, dating from the medieval period, are located approximately 10 metres southeast of the south aisle of the Church of St Mary the Virgin in Maulden. The cross is made of ashlar and consists of the lower part of an octagonal shaft that stands on an octagonal plinth, with the entire structure measuring around one metre in height. The stonework shows signs of wear.
