Description

The garden wall and gate piers adjoining The Old House to the northeast date from the late 17th century. The wall runs eastwards for approximately 130 metres and stands about 2.5 metres high. It is constructed of red brick, featuring some flared headers. There are two square-section gate piers located about 10 metres from the eastern end, each with moulded brick bases and wide, heavily moulded brick cornices. The south side of both piers has been refaced in late 18th century brick.
