Description
West End Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century and the 19th century. It features colourwashed render that is incised to imitate ashlar, over a partly timber-framed structure. The rear block is made of brick and is partly tile-hung. The roof is covered with clay tiles and has a half-hipped design at the north end. The main block is L-shaped, with two storeys and attics, while the rear block also has two storeys.
On the east elevation, the ground floor has four sash windows with glazing bars, and the first floor has five 3-light casement windows, all from the 19th century. There is a 20th-century gabled dormer in the attic. A gabled porch aligns with a red brick multiple ridge stack, which serves two rooms on the right-hand side. On the south gable end, the ground floor features a French window with marginal glazing, situated under a trellis porch.
