Description

This is a row of four cottages located at 5, 7, 9, and 11 Church Road. They were likely built around 1800. The cottages are constructed with colourwashed roughcast render over a timber frame, and have tiled roofs. The original design was for five rooms, with a 20th-century bay added to the right-hand end. The cottages are two storeys high with attics, featuring six windows on each floor. Most windows are two-light casements with leaded panes. Each cottage has a hipped, open porch, and the doorways are varied. The building has yellow brick ridge stacks. The cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
