Village hall, formerly a Reading Room. Datestone shows 1901 and Shuttleworth emblem. Picturesque Tudor style. High red brick plinth above which exterior has pebbledash render with applied timber framing. C20 tile roofs. Rectangular block with half-hipped roof, projecting central gable, and lower lean-to blocks to both ends. One storey and attics. Symmetrical front elevation. Central gable window and the 2 flanking windows are all 5-light mullion and transoms with Tudor arches under square heads. Lean-to blocks each have Tudor arched doorway. Central gable has decorative panel framing and pierced wavy-edged bargeboards with drop finial. Small octagonal lantern to centre, with domed roof and finial.
