Description
25 Church Street is a 17th-century building constructed of vermillion-painted brick, with some sections featuring English bond that have been renewed in Flemish bond. It is two stories high and has projecting boxed wooden eaves, along with a tiled roof. A string course runs between the floors. The ground floor has three sash windows, while the first floor features leaded lights set between mullions and transoms. The door, dating from the 18th century, is in a simple case and has a blank brick panel above it, which may indicate the height of the original frame. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 1 to 39 (odd) and the Court House, along with No 127 Dunstable Street.
