Description

22 Church Street is a building that may have originally been used for maltings and dates from the 16th century. It has a brick footing and plaster walls, standing two storeys high. The building features deep coved eaves and a steep tiled roof that is hipped at the western end. There are four windows, which are either two- or three-light leaded casements. A late 18th-century doorway has been added, and there is a wide carriageway. The buildings numbered 12 to 32 on the same side of the street form a group with this property.
