Description

The Court House is a mid-19th century building located on the south side of Church Street. It is constructed from yellow brick and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with a wide cornice supported by console brackets. Designed in the Renaissance style, the building has a rusticated ground floor, a band at the first floor, and pilasters framing five arched windows. The lower windows are segmental headed and include keystones. To the right, there is a slightly recessed wing with a doorway that has a cornice on consoles. The Court House, along with Nos 1 to 39 (odd) on Church Street, forms a group with No 127 Dunstable Street.
