Description

The Church of Saint Michael and All Angels is a Grade II* listed building located on Leighton Road in Billington. This sandstone and Totternhoe stone church dates back to the 13th century, with its west window and piscina originating from that period. The church underwent significant restoration and reconstruction in 1869, during which the chancel was completely rebuilt and a west bell turret supported by two large buttresses was added. It was formerly a chapel of ease to Leighton Buzzard.
