Description
The Thatched Cottage is a 17th-century building located on Leighton Road in Billington. It is timber-framed with whitewashed brick nogging and has one storey plus attics. The cottage features a thatched roof, with two box dormers that have Yorkshire casements, flanking an eyebrow dormer that contains a small casement with glazing bars. On the ground floor, from left to right, there is a 19th-century double-hung sash window, a three-light casement, a small single-light casement, and another double-hung sash window, all of which have glazing bars.
