Description

The Church of St Mary is a Grade II* listed building dating from the 13th and 16th centuries, which was restored in 1907. It is constructed of stone and features a west tower with small lancet windows and a saddleback roof. The nave and chancel are present, with the chancel dating from the late 13th century and including a piscina in the southeast angle. The east window is a 2-light design with glass from 1860. There are also 16th-century 2-light square-headed windows, with some frames made of red sandstone. The roofs were replaced in 1907, and the interior includes a 17th-century pulpit and communion rail.
