Description

Sideways is a house that was originally two cottages, dating from the 17th century. It is timber-framed and has two storeys topped with a steep roof covered in cedar shingles. The building features square framing and has a range of four windows, with an additional window added to the south end later on. The north gable end of the house is rendered. The end-wall stacks have been rebuilt.
