Description

Long Thatch is a detached cottage dating from the 18th century, constructed of painted brick and topped with a thatched roof featuring decorative ridge thatching and a brick stack. The building has a rectangular plan, possibly including a through passage, and stands at one and a half storeys high. It is adorned with four eyebrow dormers that contain 2, 3, and 4-light casements. The ground floor has additional 2, 3, and 4-light casements. The central entrance features a four-panelled door, with the upper two panels now glazed, sheltered by a thatched rustic porch. There is a band between the floors, a composite axial stack, and a projecting stack at the right gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
