Description
No. 9 is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, featuring a chequerwork pattern made of vitrified brick, with lighter red brick dressings. The roof is covered with tiles from the 20th century. The house has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high. On both the ground and first floors, there are two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars, set beneath gauged brick flat-arched heads. These windows are positioned beside blind window recesses, which include one on the ground floor and two on the first floor. The entrance features a six-panel door, with the top pair of panels being glazed, and is sheltered by a gabled trelliswork porch. A brick band runs along the first floor level, and there are red brick integral stacks at both gable ends. The left-hand gable end is rendered and painted.
