Description
This is a barn located about 50 metres northwest of Corner Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a weatherboarded timber frame set on a tall brick plinth constructed in Flemish garden-wall bond. The gable-ended roof is covered with corrugated iron sheets. The barn has a four-bay layout on the north side of the yard, with a later outshut added to the north side.
On the north elevation, there is a large later lean-to outshut on the left and a loft doorway on the right, which is obscured by a 20th-century silo. The south elevation, which faces the yard, has a doorway on the right. Inside, the barn has a four-bay frame that includes a mid rail, studs, straight tension braces, cut jowled posts with curved braces to the tie-beams, queen-struts to the collars, clasped purlins above, common rafters, and a diagonal ridgepiece.
