Description

No.10, West Hill is a house dating from the early 19th century, representing a reworking of an earlier structure. The main block is built with colourwashed roughcast render, incorporating fragments of cruck framing. A rear block is timber-framed with colourwashed brick infill. Both sections are covered by slate roofs. The house is two stories and arranged in an L-shape. The ground floor features two three-light casement windows and a centrally positioned bow window. The bow window and the right-hand casement share a bracketed frieze and cornice, with a doorway between them containing a plank door. The first floor has two two-light casements. All windows have glazing bars. A red brick multiple stack is present, along with a red brick external stack to the right-hand gable end.
