Description

How Cottage and St Christopher are a pair of cottages dating from the 17th century, with later alterations. The front of the cottages features colourwashed cement render, while the sides are constructed of red brick, although the structure likely includes some timber framing. The cottages have a 20th-century tiled roof and are two stories high with a five-window facade. All the windows are casements with diamond leading, mostly consisting of three lights. There are 20th-century glazed doors located under gabled open porches, one at the left-hand gable end and one on the right side of the front elevation. A red brick multiple ridge stack is present, along with red brick external stacks at both gable ends.
