Description
The Lodge is a house, likely once divided into two separate dwellings, dating from the early 19th century. It is built of colourwashed brick and features slate roofs. The building has a complex plan with a gabled block that borders the road and stands two storeys tall. Both the ground and first floors have three 3-light casement windows, each light featuring a 4-centred head and ornamental glazing bars. There is a plank door between the two left-hand bays and a panelled door to the right-hand bay, both of which are situated under gabled open porches; the left porch includes rustic timbering. The building has a ridge stack with Tudor style ornamental pots. To the left end, there is a later 19th-century gable that projects to the edge of the road, which contains a garage on the ground floor and a casement window on the first floor.
