Description

Moat Bridge, located south of Middle Pond in Old Warden, is a bridge from the early 19th century, likely built by the 3rd Lord Ongley. It is made of cast iron and features a small hump-backed design with an ornate style. The balustrades spiral around at the ends, finishing at newel posts topped with small acorn finials. The handrail is supported by closely spaced balusters that have simplified palmette tops.
