Description
The barn at Stockwell Farm is a 17th-century structure with substantial timber frame construction resting on a red brick dwarf wall. It is weather-boarded and topped with a corrugated iron roof. The main section features two bays and has an inserted floor. To the east, there is a half-height one bay extension, while the west end has a half-hipped roof as a secondary alteration and includes a small outshot extension. The roof is constructed with single purlins and windbraces, and the queen post trusses and walls are supported by curved braces.
