Description

Wentworth House is a fine 18th-century house constructed of red and vitrified brick. It stands two storeys tall beneath an old clay tile roof, which features a parapet and a modillion cornice. The façade includes a first floor band and a recessed centre, with a window arrangement of 2:3:2 sashes that have flat arches and moulded frames. There are dummy windows on the central right and left sides. The central door is framed by a surround of fluted Corinthian pilasters, consoles, a ribbed frieze, a dentil cornice, and a pediment. The entrance features a six fielded panel door set within an architrave.
