Description
Lower Samshill Farmhouse is a 17th-century house with a timber framed structure. The ground floor is clad in red brick, which includes some vitrified headers, while the first floor features cement render with panels of pinhole patterning. The roof is covered with concrete tiles. This two-storey building has a T-plan layout, with a later block that projects from the south elevation. The windows are casement style with glazing bars, most of which are 20th-century replacements. There are plank doors on the west block, and the door on the south elevation has a gabled hood. External red brick stacks are present on the north and south blocks, along with a multiple ridge stack made of brick on the main block.
