Description
Caldecote House is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. The front elevation is made of yellow brick, while the rest of the building is constructed from red brick. It has a 20th-century tiled roof and features a three-room plan over three storeys. The facade is symmetrical with three bays. On the ground floor, there are two bow windows with sash frames that include glazing bars, moulded frames, and fluted pilaster strips. The first and second floors each have a central round-headed window flanked by flat-headed windows, all of which are sashes with glazing bars and gauged brick heads. The central doorway consists of a door with six fielded panels, sidelights, and a round-headed fanlight with radiating glazing bars, all beneath a decorative ironwork porch. There are integral brick stacks on both gable ends. To the left, there is a two-storey block that has blind windows, except for an inserted casement window on the first floor.
