Description

This is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is built of limestone rubble, with No. 49 having a thatched roof and No. 51 a modern tile roof. A brick extension is located at the road end. The building has a T-plan layout, with a small two-storey gable featuring an old clay tile roof projecting to the east. The gable end of No. 49 has two two-light casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and a large fixed window in a moulded frame on the ground floor.
