Description
Nos 48 and 50 on Main Road are houses that date back to the 17th or 18th century and were renovated in the 19th century. They feature colour washed plaster over rubble and a thatched roof. The buildings have a four-room plan arranged as two cottages, with the left-hand cottage having a tiled brick rear extension. They are one storey high with attics and have hipped roofs at the gable ends. There are four steeply gabled dormers from the 19th century, which have prominent barge boards; three of these dormers have lattice iron casements, while one features diamond leading. On the ground floor, there are four casements with glazing bars, all of which are two-light.
