Description

This is an 18th-century cottage situated on the south side of Main Road, Biddernham. The walls are built of limestone rubble and are covered with colourwashed plaster, with a scribed finish. The roof is thatched. A gable-end stack is present. The front elevation facing the road has two casement windows on each floor. A small extension, constructed of stone and slate, projects from the west side of the cottage.
