Description
Channel's End Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse located 1 kilometre south of a junction in Colmworth. The building features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has an old clay tile roof. It consists of a four-bay main block that is two storeys high, along with a one-storey and attic cross-wing to the east. There is also a one-storey lean-to addition on the north gable end of the cross-wing, which is timber framed with brick infill, colour washed, and has a slate roof.
On the front elevation of the main block, there are two 2-light casements with glazing bars on both floors, with the first-floor windows flanking a round-headed single light casement. The entrance features a five-panel door, with the top panel glazed, set in a moulded surround, aligned with a red brick multiple ridge stack. To the east, there is a 19th-century colour washed brick one-storey range with slate and pantile roofs.
