Description
Top Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with 19th and 20th century windows. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has an old clay tile roof. The building has a three-bay plan and stands two storeys tall, with two three-light casements on both floors. The first-floor windows flank a three-centred arched window that has painted arched glazing bars. The front door is off-centre and aligns with a double red brick ridge stack; it consists of six moulded panels, surrounded by a moulded architrave and topped with a flat hood supported by panelled square Tuscan wooden columns. At the rear, there is a single-storey lean-to addition made of colour washed brick.
