Description

Nos. 36-40 Mill Lane is a 17th-century long terrace of houses constructed from coursed limestone rubble and topped with a thatched roof. The building is two storeys high and features an asymmetrical arrangement of windows. Some early leaded lights can still be seen on the rear (north) elevation and on the front elevation of no. 36, while the other windows are from the 19th or 20th century. All windows are fitted with timber lintels. Notably, there is a gabled porch on the south elevation of no. 37.
