Description

The Higgins Family Mausoleum, located in the northeast corner of All Saints Churchyard, is an early 19th-century structure featuring three bays and a square design. It is constructed of red brick, with each face divided by three panelled stone pilasters. The west elevation has an early stone fireplace with a four-centred arch at its center. Surrounding the top of the mausoleum is a stone parapet inscribed with the biblical text "What man is he / that liveth / and shall not / see death?" The corners and bay divisions are marked by square piers, and the entire structure is topped with a cornice that has heavy stone finials on each pier.
