Description
Number 110 and the adjoining outbuildings parallel to Water Lane is a house dating from around 1600. It is constructed with a timber frame and has a rendered exterior that is incised to imitate ashlar. The roof is made of clay tiles. The building has a three-room plan and is two storeys high. On the ground floor, there are two three-light casement windows, while the first floor features one three-light and two two-light casement windows. The front doorway is off-centre and has a part-glazed door with a door hood supported by cut brackets. There are two red brick chimney stacks. The east elevation, facing Water Lane, has a plinth made of coursed limestone rubble and brick, and it is jettied at the first floor. The single-storey outbuildings along Water Lane are also timber framed, with half having a limestone rubble plinth and roughcast render, while the other half has a frontage that has been rebuilt or encased in brick. The entire structure has a clay tile roof.
