Description
Numbers 116 and parts of 118 and 120 are a house, now divided into three separate units, dating from the 17th century, with an 18th century block that connects number 120 to number 114. The building features a timber frame with colourwashed roughcast render and has old clay tile roofs. It is L-shaped and has two storeys.
On the front elevation, the left-hand gable has one three-light casement window with glazing bars on each floor, along with a two-light window with leaded lights on the ground floor. The right-hand block contains two three-light casements with glazing bars on each floor and two plank doors beneath small gabled hoods supported by cut brackets. A red brick ridge stack is present.
The rear block's east elevation displays a variety of casement windows, mostly with leaded lights, and there is a brick double ridge stack at the junction with the front block. Additionally, a small 19th century colourwashed brick and slate gabled block projects eastwards.
