Description

No. 204 High Street is a house dating from around 1600, featuring a pebbledash render over a timber frame and a clay tile roof. The front has a jettied two-storey block, with a one-storey and attic block projecting from the rear. The front elevation includes a carved bressumer supporting the jetty, with two 2-light casements on each floor; the right-hand ground floor window has glazing bars, while the others have leaded lights. A red brick central ridge stack is present. On the south elevation of the rear block, there are two 3-light casements on the ground floor and two gabled dormers with 2-light casements, all featuring glazing bars. The entrance has a plank door, and there is also a red brick ridge stack.
