Description

The Owl's Nest is an 18th or early 19th century timber-framed cottage. The front facade is of whitewashed brick, while the south-west gable end is weatherboarded and the rear is of colourwashed roughcast. It has a steeply pitched thatched roof. The cottage is single-storied and features a heavily rusticated, gabled porch from the 19th century. Windows are leaded casements, with one 19th century casement retaining glazing bars located to the right of the porch.
