Description
Groom's Cottage, Stables, Fodderstore, and Carriage Shed at The Clock House are a range of late 19th-century outbuildings arranged around three sides of a square, located at the northwest corner of the house. They are constructed of local mottled red brick and feature either slate or pantile roofs. The entire range is single storey. The eastern range includes one cast iron lattice casement window and two casements with glazing bars, along with a simple tongued and grooved plank door topped by a rectangular fanlight. The northern stables have five doors with slightly cambered heads, and there are modern garage doors on the right-hand side. A barn is located on the left-hand side of this range, accessed by five steps. The western carriage shed is supported by moulded brick pillars and includes a loose box. These buildings are included for their group value.
