Description
Rushey Ford House is a late 16th century or early 17th century farmhouse featuring a single remaining bay and a jettied crosswing. The southeast bay is a later addition or rebuild. A further gabled wing was added to the northwest end in the late 18th century or early 19th century. The building is timber-framed, with a red brick northwest wing. In the late 19th century, the entire structure was pebbledashed and colourwashed. It has an old clay tiled roof and stands two storeys tall. The earlier bay of the main house includes a first-floor gabled dormer, while the crosswing and southeast bay have three-light leaded casements. The ground floor features a 20th-century flat-roofed bay with four 20th-century leaded casements. The later northwest gabled wing has a single sash window with glazing bars on each storey.
