Description

The Clock House is an early 18th century house, with a datestone indicating 1723. It was extended and altered in the late 19th century. The house is constructed of red brick with a double-pitched roof of old clay tiles. It is two storeys high with attics, and features two hipped dormers with tile-hung cheeks and a modillion eaves cornice. A central projecting section is topped by a pediment. The first floor has a 2:1:2 arrangement of 19th century sash windows. The ground floor was built out, and a heavy porch was added in 1884. A single-storey 19th century extension has been added to the east gable end.
