Description
Wellburn House is an 18th-century house that was extended and altered in the late 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and has a Welsh slate roof. The original 18th-century section is three storeys high and features stone gable coping. On the second floor, there are three 20th-century three-light casement windows. The first floor includes two sash windows with glazing bars and one three-light casement window. The ground floor has three three-light casements, with the left-hand one also featuring glazing bars. There is a trellis porch with a gabled roof and bargeboards.
At the north end, a lower later 19th-century wing has been added, which is two storeys tall. This wing has a projecting gable with curved bargeboards. The first floor of this wing has one casement window with glazing bars, while the projecting gable features a sash window. Additionally, there is a pedimented doorhood with an entablature supported by Ionic columns.
