Description
The lodge to Turvey Hall, built in the mid-19th century, features pebbledashed render on brick and an old clay tile roof. It is designed in an L-plan and consists of one storey with attics. The building showcases carved bargeboards and drop finials. On the north elevation, the left side has a projecting wing with a large gabled, open-sided porch supported by baluster posts. The west wing includes an attic gabled oriel window with a pointed arched lattice casement. The ground floor has a 5-light lattice casement window with pointed arched timber mullions. On the west gable end, there is a stone recessed panel displaying the arms of the Higgins family, along with a canted bay window on the ground floor featuring a scalloped timber valance.
