Description
Ye Three Fyshes Inn is an inn that was formerly two 2-bay houses, likely built in the late 17th century or early 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a banded plain and fishscale tile roof. It has two storeys. On the right-hand side, there is a projecting two-storey porch wing with thin scantling timber-framing on the first floor, which has a date inscription of 1624. The first floor of this wing includes an oriel window supported by cut brackets. The ground floor has 20th-century brick infill with a 7-light 'wrap around' 20th-century casement window, while other windows in this cottage are 20th-century 3-light casements. The left-hand cottage has two 3-light casements on the first floor and one 3-light casement along with a small bay window on the ground floor. There is a central gabled porch.
