Description

The White Hart Public House is a building dating from the 16th century. It features a colour washed rough cast exterior over a timber frame and has an old clay tile roof. The structure is T-shaped, with two storeys and attics, while the cross-wing has two storeys only and is jettied at the northwest gable end. Most windows are 20th-century casements, except for one 2-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars located in the rear wing. The rear wing also has gabled dormers. There are red brick external stacks on the northeast and southeast gable ends, along with various one-storey 20th-century additions to the north and east.
